Not sure which material fits your image best? Read our Canvas vs Metal vs Acrylic Wall Art Guide to find your perfect match.
Your photo, illustration, painting, or digital artwork deserves to be on a wall — not a screen. Custom Wall Art Printing at STG lets you choose your material, choose your size, upload your file, and receive a professionally produced print made specifically from your image. No templates. No stock art. Just your work, printed the way it was meant to be seen.
Choose Your Material
Every material produces a different result. The right choice depends on your image, your room, and the finish you want.
- Custom Acrylic Prints — 3mm crystal-clear acrylic with a high-gloss finish. Color is vivid and saturated, contrast is strong, and the surface has a luminous quality that makes images appear almost backlit. Best for photography, digital art, gaming imagery, and high-contrast designs in modern spaces.
- Custom Metal Prints — 1mm dye-sublimated aluminum with heat-infused ink. Crisp detail, smooth gloss finish, and a slim frameless profile that works in any contemporary interior. Best for photography, landscapes, action subjects, and artwork where clean lines and strong color need to hold at large sizes.
- Custom Canvas Prints — Premium 3/4-inch hand-stretched Gloss Canvas with gallery-style texture and visible edge depth. The surface adds warmth and softness to color photography, portraits, and illustration. Best for traditional interiors, bedroom walls, and artwork that benefits from a familiar fine-art presentation.
How It Works
- Choose your material — Acrylic, Metal, or Canvas. Each produces a distinct finish — review the material pages if you’re unsure which suits your image.
- Choose your size — Ten sizes available from 8×8 through 30×40. Check the individual product listing for the full size menu and current availability.
- Upload your file — Submit the highest-resolution original you have. JPG, PNG, PDF, and TIFF are accepted.
- We review before printing — Our production team checks every file for resolution, crop alignment, and clarity issues before production begins. If something could affect the finished print, we’ll contact you first.
File Requirements & Resolution Guidelines
Submit the highest-resolution version of your file. We accept JPG, PNG, PDF, and TIFF formats. For best results, your file should be at least 150 DPI at the intended print size, with 300 DPI preferred for sharp detail. Files below minimum resolution may result in visible softness or pixelation at larger sizes — our team will flag this during review rather than proceeding with a file that won’t produce a quality result.
You must own the image or hold the rights to reproduce it. We do not print copyrighted material without documented authorization from the rights holder. Each print is produced specifically from the file, material, and size you select — there are no generic substitutions.
What Works Well as Custom Wall Art
Almost any high-resolution image can become wall art — but some subjects translate especially well. Family portraits, travel photography, pet photos, wedding images, original paintings, digital illustrations, logo art, and personal photography all make strong custom prints. If the image matters to you and the file is sharp, it belongs on a wall.
Display & Care
All custom prints include hanging hardware and arrive ready to display. For best results, hang indoors away from prolonged direct sunlight, high humidity, and heat sources. Care instructions vary by material — refer to the individual material collection pages for specific guidance on cleaning and long-term display.
